Cliff Lee’s thoughts going into game 1 of the World Series. In case anyone isn’t aware, Lee totally dominated the Yankees and pitched a crazy-awesome complete game. I heard him say this on SportsCenter this morning, and I thought, Yes, this is what I need to tell myself when I’m getting nervous Sunday morning!
I haven’t felt nervous at all yet. I feel ready. But I’m sure there will be some butterflies in my tum come Sunday. (via runonempty)
I always just say all that’s left to do is show up. I’m not nervous yet about my 50K on Saturday, but I really think its because no one really knows I’m running it so they aren’t asking me if I’m ready. The nerves will come Friday shortly after packet pickup.
